In Reply to: Outputtng Music File to Actual Notes posted by Gina on October 30, 2001 at 19:56:14: Picking out a saxophone's note from within a track with other instruments is something you will have to do with your ears. There are audio to midi programs around but they struggle even with quite a basic monophonic instrument. Have a look on this site under format convertors. I think they are in there but don't expect much. Logic Audio does this as well, as may Cubase and the like so if you already have a midi/audio sequencer, you should be able to find the facility.
