Stereo reverbs and doubling of the vocal in any way usually makes the software unreliable because they start to invade more of the stereo field. In a lot of ways, it's down to luck and the type of music your processing. There is no way at the moment to completely irradicate the vocal from a mix the overall bandwidth is toooo complex.... : :
