| Hi, I want to build a PC for my wife to sing and record on. What would the best sound card and system be for this. Cheers |

| that depends on how much you want to spend, apple spike is a good exturnal sound card for a low budget!! midi man audiophile, just make sure you get 24 bit sound card!! and some sorftware like wave lab to clean it up on!! if it is purley for her just to sing over then that should suffice!! |

a vst host made by china,
y can use mp3 for bgmusic
y can use best vst for reverb,compraser...
the host can rec y voice in mp3 format

All the good "software" mentions not withstanding, the PC must be, if Windows driven, an Intel based Motherboard. Intel Northbridge, Intel Southbridge and Intel processor.
Do not be fooled with a "Via" chipset, it is not Intel and will produce an undesirable "click or static" that no manner of tech support will ever rid you of.
Get a bare bones box from tiger direct.com, if so inclined, and just add your current hard drive and PC components...save the headaches for someone else:)
