well you first need a midi interface for the computer. or even a soundcard that has midi ins/outs on it.
im not sure about settings, but you probably have to setup fruity loops to read the incoming midi data. |

As A Fruityloops Fan i'm Happy to say that once you obtained a Midi
Patch Wire (Via USB or 15 pin Game Controller Port), Daw Controller Or midi Patch Bay.(Most moble Pre's)
Fruity Loop 3 And Up To FLStudio's 6 make's it pretty Automatic to
Mapp And Run A Midi KeyBoard.
Start By Going Into Fruitys' --Options--Click On ----Midi Settings---.
Now With in the remote control input Box U Should Find The Name Of Your
Midi Product.
With that done Close The Options Box And Click On A Generator Such As;
Fruity DX10 (Syth). That well Choose Which Generator To Trigger.
All This Assuming You want to Trigger Vst Instruments (Plugin generators)
With Your Keboard.
Not Use Fruity To Trigger You Keyboard.
Hope this is of some help Good Luck
