Hey Guys,
Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on this for me. I am in the process of backing up my whole Record/Cassette/CD collection on to harddrives and I am trying to find a short cut through manually entering all the data in. I know with CD's that you can access the gracenote data base & get album info but what about random files such as records or cassettes that have been transfered over. Are there any wave file analyzers that may help me out such as Bazook does with sound files thru your Phone.
To make things even trickier I'm am wanting to not just file my collection in Genres & artist but also in BPM as to make my DJ Sets easier to sought through, So i'm after a BPM calculator that automatically calculates from the wave file (not a tap one) something like Mixmiester but it needs to save the details to the file not just a note pad.
Money isnt an issue as it will save me months of work if the technology is available. I am even willing to go Apple if the software only exists on that format. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks heaps for your time.
