I have a casio HT-3000 keyboard with all the accessories and am not interested in upgrading at the moment. I can't find the MIDI drivers for it anywhere! Please help.
Thanks in advance. |

| I am looking to hook it up to my compuet, and usi it as a midi instrument with Reason3, I was told that there would ahve to be drivers installed to make it compatible. I am waiting on my usb-midi interface right now sop I cant test it. |

| you probably already have midi drivers that are installed and will work with windows - just plug it in and it should work. if you get a disk with your usb-midi interface installing the software/drivers that come with it will work also. |

| SO I recieved my midi interface. I have the keyboard on midi mode, and the yellow light lights up on the interface when I hit keys. In driver signing I have MPU-401 compatible midi device. THat is the only midi related driver listed. I still cant get sound out of it through the reason instrument patches. Any ideas? |

Yes...does the keyboard produce sound? Like, all by itself?
Anyway, you do realize there can be a gulf of about 20 years age difference between this keyboard and the age of your computer right? Is that important? Only if you want to use MIDI.. |

| Yes it produces sound on its own. I understand there is an age difference, but MIDI is MIDI isn't it? Just wondering if I need any drivers, or if there is a setting in Reason that I have to change. |

| Midi of 20 years ago(your keyboard) and today has changed (http://www.midi.org/). Check your midi cables. If you just want the keyboard to play the Reason sounds, on the keyboard, locate midi out and plug one end of the cable there and the other end into the midi IN on the computer. |

| Ok, as per the rest of the topic, i have a midi interface already connected and I have verified that the signal is making it to the interface (lights illuminating when keys pressed) THe question I ahve is do I need additional drivers for this to work, or is there a setting in Reason3 that im missing. |
