| I'm pretty new to computers and I have what might be a futile question...I have Mac OS X version 10.4.8. Which download effect units will work on my Mac? Freeverb worked fine while others did not. I've read something about the 'Intel mac'. The older Mac's not have this? Am I just not installing effects correctly? Thanks for reading. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I don't have a mac, BUT Intel and Apple rolled out an Intel based Mac last year or the year before, I think.
So anything before that "coming out" was not an Intel based processor.
You must be certain that the effects/software you are looking at will work on a MAC. You will see a LOT of PC stuff out here on the web. But they are not interchangable. PC software works on a PC(windows based) and MAC has to have a MAC version...so keep yer eye on that:) as it will just not work.

| Thanks so much for your advice and kind words Brian. I've been a musician for 20 years and computers are new to me and it can be frustrating. It has also been very rewarding at times and I'm just looking to get better at it. Thanks again. |
