I listened to a song a LONG time ago but I don't know the artist or the song title.  I hope you can help me, here's how it goes. I don't really know how the lyrics go, I'm doing this by memory... 
A guy sings: "If I _______ would you still be my friend?"
A girl sings: "Be your friend..." in a echo kinda way.
I am not sure of what the guy says really. I really hope someone can help me. I've searched everywhere but I can't find out who sang it. |

If you were pressed, what genre of music would you place it in...back then?
Also when you say LONG...is that 10 years long, 5 years long....100 years long? |
