So, I'm Rob. I'm 14, and I live in New York. Singing is my passion, and though I'm great, I know I'm not the only one.

I've recorded myself thousands of times, but I can't find the courage to send them out/share them with anyone. Fear of rejection.

I play the piano, Sing, Write, and Act, yet, Singing is still my forte.

Advice on what I should do?

Get over your fear of rejection.

You spell very well for a fourteen year old, your parents must be proud.

The truth is, no one knows what you want to do better than you.

Sayings such as "I want to be a star" or "I am a great tenor and will one day replace Pavoratti" really have no legs to stand on. They are just words.

What are you willing to do to achieve whatever it is that you decide you dream is? That is the question.

Many here have offered much advice towards this very same goal. Some good, some not so good. But none of it has come from anyone that actually knows.

Books. You read right? I just know you have a Library card. Look up written works on some of your favorite entertainers. The stories usually read that much time is spent in preparation toward the inevitable goal.

To quote some old dead guy, "I find that the harder I work the more luck I have."

And another says "Success is 10 percent inspiration and 90 percent perspiration."

Mark Twain and Thomas Edison were both successful people in their day and even now are well known by their contributions.

How successful you want to be will determine how hard you are willing to work towards that goal.
