Help with soundcard..

I Need some help with this question, i'm looking to purchase a sequencer and have been told if i take on lets say, Cubase" for example, that it comes bundled with a soundcard. i already have a PCI soundcard installed on my computer, which is the (M-audio's audiophile 192 PCI card) so i'm thinking i dont need another one, What "exactly" do they mean by this ?
