I am trying to find a song I heard at partty in 1993. It was very meditative but not new age. The song included a women talking about the sky and the colors she saw. she sopke everything. I think there was a reference to Iowa or the skies of a cetain state. She was very at ease. She describes the colors of a sunset and is lying in a field. the music was composed with electronic mediums.
This is an extention of my last post. I am hoping to find the name of a song I heard over 10 years ago. Please tell me it is possible to find this song with help of anyone who reads this or who could point me in the right direction in my quest.
In my last post I wrote that I was looking for a song that I heard at a party in 1993. I don't know if '93 was its release date or how old the song might be. It is definitly not pop or chicky. the explicit genre I would blend between underground melodic electronic. A woman speaks throughout it like she is on a "trip". She describes the sky and the colors. I seem to remember her referencing a State, maybe Iowa o Arizona, but I could be completely wrong since I am working on a very old memory and probably at an altered state at the time.
If anyone has any idea or direction to lead me, please reply. |

The song am looking for was not something you would hear on everyday radio. The music to the song I am looking for has a MOBY-esk sound with a little delirium thrown in. The woman "talks", there is no singing. I jsut remember her voice is very calm while explaining what she is seeing while she is walking through a field -which are the colors of the sky and how brilliant the colors are.
I have spent days researching, with no luck!!
If anyone can give me tips on how to find this song on the world wide web or sites to look at would be very appriciated. |

"Little Fluffy Clouds" by The Orb is the original song.
There have been many remixes.
I was remembering bits of that song too and had to find it...
Found it!
The woman talking is Rickie Lee Jones, in an interview about her childhood.
