Hello,
I need an audio and video software for this job? Any recommendations?
1. I want to remove as much audio as possible from a music video which contains a live recording of a song accompanied by live musicians
2. Then I want to recreate the audio using instrument sounds different from the original recording. I will create my own drum tracks
3. Then I want to sync the recreated audio with the original song from the video and save the file as my music video creation
4. Because the original video was recorded live, there is not a constant tempo in the music, so I would want a software that would edit both the video and recreated audio so that both sync perfectly.
5. Please let me know if one or more software is needed for this job. Someone told me that Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 can do it. Does anyone know?
Thanks

I'd say use Pro Tools, import the video into the software... you can then create your own drum tracks, and use a plugin called "vocalign" to align your tracks, with the ORIGINAL audio recording. It's quite simple actually. it sounds complicated, but it's easy to do. It's the only way I know how to do it.. and it's how most of us in Hollywood make it happen. |
