I need a program which has the ability to convert sung input to an instrument track.
I am much more creative when I sing than when I play a keyboard and I want to sing notes and have this converted to a keyboard track, for example, where I can edit is as required. I realise that editing will be necessary.
I’ve seen Digital Ear which seems to do it but I’ve been told that there is no one program with the facility, including Digital Ear. I’ve been told that I have to use two programs, such as intelliScore to convert sung input to MIDI (specifying the instrument sound I want to use) and then use a MIDI to audio converter program such as WAVmaker or MIDIConverter Studio.
Can anyone give me advice on the way to go? I’m looking for low cost software if possible. |
