I copied and pasted , 1st song was ok one that I pasted all started playing together and i want 1 ,2 ,3 ,and 4 to play one after another. Is it something i am doing wrong?

All the songs need to play in sequence on the same stereo track.

Song1song2song3song4.

To do this you need to CUT and paste.

If you copy and paste the originals will play as well.

I've never had a problem but here's how I do it.

Import track one.
Select section to keep.
Go to Edit and select "trim"
If start of the track is selected no further action is needed.
If a section mid song is selected it will need to be moved to the start of the track using the time shift tool.
(the icon with the left/right arrow). Click, hold and drag on the section of waveform and move it to the left.
This only needs to be done once. Now re-select the normal selection tool.
Import track two.
Select section to keep and trim.
Go to edit and select cut. (the waveform track is now totally blank)
Click on blank area to the right of track one's waveform to designate it.
Go to edit and select paste..
The two sections will now be joined together on track one.
Play it back to check it. If OK delete the blank track (the "x" at the left of the track window) and import track three.
Repeat the above process for tracks three and four.
If at any time you make a mistake you can use ctrl+z to undo the action.

the problem i had was the 2nd track was only on top and bottom part was blank.I am gonna draw it.

_______________________________________________________

1st track 2nd track 3rd track
_______________________________________________________

1st track blank 3rd track

so when i edit 1st son its good,2nd song good, cut and paste good. I edit 3rd track is good, Problem starts when i cut and paste 3rd stock, the bottom part of 3rd track moves under the 2nd track hence when 2nd track plays along with 3rd bottom plays.

If u can help greatly appreciated.
