Hello All!
I am looking for software that will take in a piece of music such as a midi file and compare my performance with the piece. I see there are some options available such as using Finale or Piano suite premier, can someone let me know what others are out there and that they would recommend?
From what I read those software packages do not check for the dynamics of a piece such as loudness or softness, but only checks if the right pitch is played and how long it was held. From what I understand midi can check the the dynamics through velocity. Though I guess I would need a notation software that would allow me to input the dynamics, any suggestions for that? Mainlt though is there software out there that does the velocity comparison?
