Convert AVI file to CDG or BIN

Does anyone know of a program I can use to convert an AVI or FLV file to a CDG or BIN. I'm trying to make some karaoke from videos I got off youtube but no luck. I've tried renaming the flv file to bin but that didn't work cause as far as I understand they are the same thing. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
