There's this new interactive music game called SuperGroup where you can form your own band and create your own original compositions.
I downloaded the free software and was very impressed. The internal music engine was designed with advanced ingenuity and within minutes I was creating high-quality compositions. The fact that it was free was really something considering that the graphics and music are pretty top-notch. The instruments that you can employ cover a wide spectrum including piano, electric guitar, electric bass, drums, saxophone etc.
It's listed as beta, so I think it came out not too long ago. Below is the link to their website if any of you are interested.
