| Look im just a "REAL" person..I wasn't being mean to "eminem" or whoever he is.. I just kno that in the business people will eat u up if u try to be someone ur not or even remotely pretend to be. Nobody wants a poser. I jsut wanted him to kno he could have given me the same comment he did without saying he was eminem or whateva. It's all about being who u r no matter what..in every aspect of life. I just don't c why people want to go around saying there people there not when they can be themselves. It would be like me saying that i was Christina Aguilera or something and giving people advice, no i didn't, i clearly stated that im a music major w/ some helpful advice (Not some famous person who can get u a record deal.) I just have noticed that most people on here r teenagers and still i high school and probably r still a little confused about the whole music business ( i was) so i wanted to give some sound advice to those who r really serious about music POINT TO MAKE "BE YOURSELF". And im glad for all of u who like the advice. |

Hi Misse, im Sunny. I am 13 years old and am in several choirs and play the guitar. I truly want to be a singer someday, ive entered so many talent shows and have gotten into them-singing acapella. ive been playing guitar for a year, and at recitals i sometimes get standing ovations. I pull a 82 average at school and I feel, even though school would come first, singing as a hobby/job would be really cool. I have written several songs, i can sing them and send the file to u or I can send u the lyrics-or both. I like singing R&B, because it most flatters my voice, although I would like to sing poprock like the type ashlee simpson sings. I also write R&B songs, but I wrote a couple rock songs too. There are no recording studios that I know of by where I live (toronto ontario) so I cant record, and right now my parents dont take me seriously, but I understand that--after all, im only 13. My family, though, is realizing that I am serious about singing, and also guitar-and they thought it was just a fling thats gonna fade away after a month. Im glad I proved them wrong! But plz, do u know any places nearby Toronto that record music, or any producers? Also, how do u get a manager? Can it just be one of my friends, or does it have to be a professional adult for the most popularity? My friends have all compared me to JoJo and Mariah Carey...pls give feedback! Thx!!  u rokk!
