Hello,
I read your article on how to get noticed by a record label, and found it gave me some very valuable points. Thanking you for that. I am an aspiring singer. However till date I have recorded only cover songs, I don't write my own songs. You have mentioned that you know some sites where I could buy the tune/beats and also the lyrics to original songs for $25 to $1000, I was wondering if you could give me the links to those websites. Also you have mentioned that you are a major in music and also a songwriter. I was wondering if you could help me out.
Here's a sample of my voice, please listen to it:

BTW....I am a 19 year old guy and I live in India. I sing all genres of songs....Pop, Rock, Jazz...etc...
Any advice or guidelines you could give me on where I could buy original songs/lyrics/tunes...so that I could make a demo tape would be very highly helpful to me...As currently I have no contacts and no idea of what to do next...
Hoping for your reply

A lot of you guys want to be a singer but it's not easy.
You can do a demo but what do u do with it?Who do
you send your demo to?You can post your music online which
is a great start good way to build a fan base. But you still
need to get your music to the big boys and radio airplay.
You gonna need someone to help you get your music heard.
If you want a chance to be heard and get your
music out to labels email me sevonb@gmail.com I have a
service that will help you get your music out.Don't waste your
talent share it with the world.I develop my service just to help
out artists like everyone on this site.

I've shopped my demo around for years and I'm still trying to get a bite Confused Still, there were a couple of good tips mentioned in the article and if you are trying to break into the industry, it's always good to find new ways of doing it. I'm not sure if anyone mentioned the importance of contests - enter as many of them as you can find as often as you can. A friend recommended a new one she found to me called 'MakeAStar' that allows you to load videos that are voted on and win monthly cash prizes - I think they even had a show on Fuse a month or so. Sounds like a cool new option to try out.
