Thanks Brien;

Could you post them onto box.net server.

I shouldn't have much problem with getting them onto floppy and installing on an old system then I can post the config setting for anyone else who has problem with USB cables in the future.

The installation should work on a dos system; alternatively I may try dosbox Wink

Hi, i'm new here so pardon my barging in!

Recently got a new USB keyboard and while it's great and all, I've found that teaching software is hopeless in comparison to the Miracle teaching software I had back in the day. Or maybe it's also a smidgen of nostalgia on my part Razz

While I no longer have a computer old enough to run it on, even just the midi files, which I assume is what the miracle software used, would be a great help. I would be eternally grateful if some kind soul could mail them to me (hw @ avara .net ), or tell me where to get them... (that's how I ended up here, I think it fits into this thread.)

thanks Smile

PC version of Miracle Piano: I found the windows version of the Piano Discovery 3 software (old Miracle Pianos) from a torrent, downloaded it, and installed it on my xp computer. It seems to work fine, unlike most older software I have. I had been looking and looking for updated to get my old miracle piano working for my grandkids. That may be one possibility for you to get it. The manual and quick set up guide were included, hooray! (oh my but the new technology I've had to learn to find and get this done.)

I also found a link for someone selling what sure sounds like this software, with a lot of other software related to music. You may want to check out that link too. home.comcast.net/~msantoro/MiracleSuite.htm

I was told that this was copyrighted software, even tho the company that produced it had gone out of business, but as long as I still had disks from my original purchase, it was legal for me to use the torrent version.

I hope you are ultimately successful in getting and installing the software, as I really enjoyed it when my kids were younger and wanted to get it set up for my grandkids to use eventually.

Brian, I downloaded your software on a Windows 95 as well as a Windows XP computer . Thanks very much for providing the software, I really appreciate it.
Everything seems to work, but there is no sound.
If I run the software without the miracle keyboard connected, should I hear the demonstations and the orchestra through the computers speakers? There is also no response from the computer when I plug in and play the miracle keyboard?
What could be the problem?

Greetings!

I run the Miracle Teaching System on an XP system using MIDI cables. When the software was installed, it had a step that should only be inatalled while the Miracle Keyboard is connected. Mine was and I installed that part. In the Miracle Conservatory, I went to Administration and setup the MIDI connection. You should see selections for your Miracle Keyboard or USB MIDI device (on my system). I selected the same for input and output. The synthesizer option for output should play through the computer speakers (if you have one on your sound card). The OUT MIDI cable from your computer should be connected to the IN MIDI port of your Miracle Keyboard. The IN MIDI cable from your computer should be connected to the OUT MIDI port of your Miracle Keyboard. The Miracle Keyboard must be plugged into the power outlet and turned on in order for you to hear the music and play the lessons. The connections should be the same for non-Miracle keyboards, but some of the installation and setup options might be different. I hope this helps.
