Jason Smooth Moderator Joined: 13 Jan 2005 Posts: 194 Location: Brisbane	Posted: Fri Nov 18, 2005 5:22 am    Post subject: What you need is a Notation Scanning program like SmartScore or PhotoScore - you can find demos you can download on this website at http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/mac/NOTATION_SCANNING/ I'm not aware of any that will read in PDF files so you will probably have to print out the sheet music, then scan it uses a scanner. The other option would be to take screen shots of the PDF files on your computer screen. (ScreenShot Pro will do the trick) Once you have an image of the sheet music the programs I mentioned above will be able to convert it to MIDI files which you can use in Finale or any other Notation/Sequencing/MIDI Playback software.
