I'm running XP Pro with service patch 2. I downloaded Limewire 4.10.2.0. On the launch it freezes after saying ...Loading Resources... then ...Loading HTML engine... and finally ...Loading Messages... this last message never goes away and nothing further happens, though a little animated bar continues to bounce back and forth over the words ...loading messages...
When I go to force quit, Limewire doesn't appear under the list of running applications, but does appear as a process. I have to choose End Process to get it to stop trying to launch.
Can anybody help me get Limewire to launch correctly? |
