Announcing a reasonably priced 2 CD set of 101 drumcircle rhythms to use out at the drumcircle, gigs, drumcircle facilitation or wherever. The cost is $10 for the set. I wanted to keep the cost as low as possible.
I've collected rhythms from different cultures, and countries and put them all down on these 2 CDs. The entire collection is almost Two and a half hours worth of them. 148 minutes total of drum circle support rhythms to try out by yourself at home, with friends, or out at the drum circle.
The reason I did this is sometimes you just cannot remember a new beat
to start out with, or just want to pick up a few different ones to add
to your collection. We all get out there now and then and think,
I used up all the rhythms I know, and can't think of another one!
Well this should keep you busy playing for quite a while.
All 107 of the hand drum rhythms are done on one djembe drum. There is 57 drum rhythms on CD One, and 50 drum rhythms on CD Two. All are separate tracks about 2 minutes each.
Many drummers from various cultures were kind enough to contribute their own favorite rhythms to this project, making it quite a worldly collection of rhythms. Most of them are African tribal, Caribbean, Egyptian, Taiko, and Middle Eastern, and there's a few funky freestyles in there, as well as some unknowns. I am a working musician and drum circle facilitator in the Tampa FL. area.
