I have been struggling with Magix music studio, my problem is when trying to record a track with my guitar, i can't hear any of the effects of my virtual amp until i play the recoding back. I want to be able to tweak the settings on the amp and hear exactly how it sounds before i start recording. I guess what i'm trying to say is that i want to hear what it sound like live as i'm playing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thak you, BL

Well man, unfortunately The Virtual Amp is basically just a fancy looking fx plug-in...you can't apply it in real time RECORDING, only real time mixing of the track....
What you might try is bussing it over to an auxillary track, and apply the VirtualAmp to the aux track...that way you could possibly use the fx on your bus track while recording in...but that's just a shot in the dark...
Personally I just record my acoustic and then tweak the VirtualAmp later...that way I can waste hours diggin the sounds (personal fave - American Lead, Closed 4x10, 80low, 65mid, 75high, Distortion 90, Vol. 80)
