Hey everyone, Stacey has put together a quick guide to Freeware and Open Source multitrack recording software. However, I'm posting it because she's currently soaking in the rays up North. I'm not jealous but, as I don't have to listen to her complain about my singing.
A lot of you will already have your favorite multitrack recorder, but for anyone just getting into recording, checking out the free options is a good idea.
For those of you who don't know what multitrack recording is, Wikipedia does a pretty good job of summing it up: Quote: "Multitrack recording is a method of sound recording that allows for the separate recording of multiple sound sources to create a cohesive whole."
