Linplug has announced that porting of their plug-ins to Intel-based Macs is now complete.
"We are happy to finalize porting our instruments to Intel-based Macs. Alpha, daOrgan and Saxlab are finally there, though we need a public beta phase of Saxlab to make sure we did it right. If you are an SaxLab user, feel free to try the public beta and let us know if there is any problem, however, we do not recommend using the beta on critical projects" Peter said in the LinPlug newsletter.
"Both Alpha and daOrgan are regular updates and are recommended if you have an Intel-Mac, otherwise its not required to update."
A major update to one of LinPlug's instruments is also in the works with its release expected in a month.
"Its a milestone, though you maybe not have expected it for just this instrument. A big and wonderful additional soundset for another instrument is also quite far done, we just do the final checks and it’ll be there next month as well" he said.
