ES_X was developed and intensely tested in life performances by John Dekron and videoking. It is an intentionally simple yet powerful instrument for live improvisation with video material (both clips and live video input).
Strong MIDI integration and audio analyzing and the ability to play very long clips and trigger them from your optional MIDI keyboard included. "Live" means that is not necessary to precompose material or setups that will be fixed throughout a show. "Improvisation" means that you may use your intuition to alter your output in whatever way you feel best.
Version 1.1 now supports 640x480 resolution, Tint-, Duoton-, and SEQU-Sequenzer setups are saveable, cross FX is beat-synchronizable and it's accompanied by some other minor enhancements and bugfixes.
