Hi all.
I've got the opportunity to get my hands on an Opcode Studio 64X MIDI device (http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/1997_articles/may97/opcode64x.html) and am wondering if anyone can point me at the software I need to utilize it.
I am quite new to computer-based music production, so I am basically starting from scratch. I already have a (lovely) Roland MT-32 Multi Timbre Sound Module and a Yamaha XG YMF724 sound card (with MIDI port) in my computer, and a MIDI interface cable linking the two.
My preferred OS is Linux, but Windows XP related info would also be welcome. I have been considering RoseGarden and Frieve Music Studio Producer, but I haven't done anything with either yet.
All helpful input would be welcome. Thanks. |
