From your question I'm not exactly sure if you simply want to copy existing CDs with your Akai MPC2000 sounds, or if you want to make CDs from the sounds on your MPC2000.
If you just want to make back up copies of your MPC2000 CDs then you can simply use CD Burning software that works with data disks. You will find this type of software at http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/cat/CD_BURNERS/
If you want to create standard audio CDs from your Akai MPC2000 disks or from sounds on your MPC2000 then you need to use a program like MESA II to copy the sounds to your computer before burning an audio CD - you can get the software here:
Macintosh - http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/MESA_mac/
Windows - http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/MESA_pc/
Does this help? |

Thanks for the response.
I guess i didnt really specify why i need help.
I want to make an mpc2000 start up disk and sounds library but on a cd.
Since the mpc2000 doesnt recognize cd's, i'm looking for a new or easier way to make cds readable by the mpc2000. I followed a link in another thread, but i cant understand most of the directions and afford the software needed. Any other suggestions is welcome. |
