View Original Thread: New Freeware Software: Lets go bug swatting

Michael

The first three new freeware selections this week are plug-ins from BetaBugsAudio, thus the reason for my dodgy title. It was a toss up between that and "Bug-ins." Equally bad, but as always, there is plenty to download so take a look.

WideBug v1.0 is a simple tool to enhance the stereo sound of your audio material. VST.

SVF2 v1.0 is a state variable filter. VST.

Chorrosive v1.0 says it's a simple device that accepts audio in, runs it through various types of battery acid, and drops it out the other side. Battery Acid being a chorus unit, band pass filter and transistor emulation.

AVdrum 0.2 for Win and now Mac OS X. It's an audio/video step sequencer and also a drum machine.

Can't forget the sonicWORX range being made freeware this week either. It was previously commercial software. Basically tools for audio editing and post production. Three Versions available, sonicWORX Power Bundle 2.6 however contains both. Mac.

PixelBurn is a VST three oscillator synth for Windows.

The ed choice this week, SubDuer, a VST dual oscillator subtractive synth aimed at low CPU usage. Win.

TLs Pocket Limiter v1.1 is a transparent brickwall limiter. VST/Win.
