| I dont have anything against music education. Its just this idea that it would be a prequisite for a song writing competition and even moreso the idea that gear matters at all in songwriting that I find so repulsive. |

| I googled "song-writing contest" and there are lots, but Im not sure if most of these are just scams or if they are legit. |
