View Original Thread: Fast, Affordable Audio CD Ripping and Batch Conversion

Hitman

Press Release: Mystik Media has released RapidRip, a fast, easy-to-use,
configurable, and affordable audio CD ripping and batch conversion
tool that provides complete FreeDB/CDDB/CDDB2 support, with options
to automatically name output files from CDDB data (configurable),
and save CDDB data to audio file tags.

Additionally, the program provides optional creation of output folders using CDDB album and artist information, error correction, block and buffer size
control, ripping speed and jitter mode settings, option to maintain folder structure for conversion output, automatically transfer audio tags, and convenient playback of audio tracks.

Supported output formats include WAV, MP3, WMA, OGG, ADPCM, A-LAW,
u-LAW, DSP, GSM, MP2, and VOX. The comprehensive range of
supported output formats makes the software very flexible, and
provides a complete solution for users to convert to most any audio
format desired with ease.

RapidRip provides extensive frequency and bitrate options that
allow for maximum control of the conversion output. When disk space
is an issue, such as for portable MP3 players, select a lower
bitrate to conserve space. When high audio quality is a must,
select one of the higher settings. Constant Bitrate (CBR) options
are available for the best compatibility with both hardware and
software players, and Variable Bitrate (VBR) is also provided for
further optimized file sizes.

All conversions are performed directly from the source format to
the output format, which increases overall conversion speed and
eliminates a possibility for potential quality loss. With RapidRip,
the possibilities are vast. Convert from CD to MP3, CD to WMA, CD
to OGG, CD to WAV, CD to MP2, MP3 to WAV, MP3 to WMA, MP3 to OGG,
WMA to MP3, WMA to WAV, OGG to MP3, OGG to WAV, OGG to WMA, MP2 to WAV, and many more combinations among the other supported formats.

Added to all the technical capabilities of RapidRip, one of the
major advantages of using it is ease of use. Significant care was
taken, without sacrificing the powerful functionality, to ensure
that the software's interface is easy to use. Conversions can be
performed on an entire CD (or any selection of tracks desired)
simply by selecting the tracks in the list, and clicking the
convert button or menu item.

RapidRip costs $24.95 (US), runs under Windows 98
