VOSGAMES has launched Boom Recorder for the sound engineer who wants to replace his tape based systems with a hard disk recorder. Boom Recorder is specificaly designed to record on a film-set or for recording of live-events with many channels in high resolution. It is available on Macintosh OS X.
Features:
- Easy to use interface, designed for recording on-stage.
- Pre-records a few seconds from before the record button is pressed.
- Records up to 32 of the first 32 channels simultaneously.
- 32 bit floating point sample format.
- High sample rates including 96 kHz are possible.
- Exports Core Audio Format (CAF) files, enabling robust long continues recording sessions.
- Exports high resolution QuickTime 7 files.
