After more than a year of fine tuning and development, FreeMyMusic.com is ready for the public. The site has consecutive music contests occurring twice a month on the 1st and 16th of every month, and has categories that are created by the musician if they cannot find one that best suits their music style. Not only that, 10%-30% of ALL entries will win, and not by nameless judges, but by the public. The winners are selected from an open voting method by the users of the site. The revenue potential for good musicians that has a following can be massive.

Users of the site get 5 votes per contest, and vote for their favorite songs, and votes can be changed anytime during the contest period. This will entice the users to listen to more songs, in turn giving the musicians greater exposure. The financial incentive, as well as the distribution of the music will become essential to musicians. Steven Cho says, “there’s no reason that any musician who’s serious about their craft will not want to enter at least one contest to see how they do. It’s very simple and straight forward.”
