Recently I've had nothing but problems with limewire. My downloads start and then I get that dreaded blue screen error and I have to reboot.
I've run a virus scan, checked for defects in memory, ran spyware/malware scans and everything checks out. I'm running Windows Me, Limewire 4.12.6, Java 1.5.0-06. Ram 512, 83% free disk space.
Errors: 06:014F:00000E2, 06:014F:00000EB6 first day and OD:5894:00000619 & OC:0564:00000225 the second day. I'm going CRAZY! I love Limewire and would like to continue using it.
Any suggestions from anyone???? |

That dreaded blue screen is most likely due to AOL not liking limewire, or ME not likeing either of them or 512K ram getting eat up and frozen due to the computers inability to release memory. It reads like you have had limewire for a while, but I would venture to guess that it hasn't been that long, your system is old, and it cannot support all of what you are trying to ask it to do.
Thats just my take on it, your mileage may vary.
I suggest getting a computer no less then 2 years old with a gig of ram and a 3+/- gig processor. A barebones box cost about (USD)128.00 at Tigerdirect.com
