Hello everyone... Just bought this software and finding it impossible to understand and use. Worse still is trying to get support from Sony whose forums don''t let you post unless you supply your registration key which I keep doing but to no avail. Years back I enjoyed making dance tracks using Music 3000 on the PS2. I assumed from the look of it that this Sony product was where I could do the same thing, create music. Now from the past four hours experience I have my doubts. Have I bought the right thing? If not, what other creation software is there that is simple to use? If anyone else has experience with Sony Acid I''d be grateful for some guidance. Tried to get my head around windows explorers and docks and plug-ins but it's a language I just don''t understand. So far I''ve been reading the ''help'' tutorial and managed to open some synths where I can use a keyboard and hear what things sound like. But how to find the loops and sound-bytes is beyond me. My first post, hope there''s some help mout there, not sure what to do next, it looks really really good but, no good if the owner hasn''t a clue what to do with it!

When dealing with unfamiliar software, you might want to start by reading online tutorials or watching tutorial videos, it helps me when I am trying to use new programs.

I tried doing some searches for Sony Acid Studio - Tutorials and found a number of videos and links. I am not sure of the exact version or model of your software, so you may have to do your own searches to get what you need.

Anyway here are some links I found that might help:

Hello everyone not sure if this is the right place sorry if wrong

I am looking for a mod demo a disk with some music on it from a group of mates that was around about 1992-3
I think there was four songs on the disk and I cant find it.

anyway the only thing that stands out about it is that one of the mods used a sample of Papa was a rolling stone and this sample was gated so that it sounded like a doo-wop vocal

sorry if thats no help but I would love to hear that mod again.

Thanks.
I am looking for a good duplicate finder and I tested quite some tools.
So far this seems to do the best job.
I like the free version so far, but I intend to get the PRO because of the extra features. Unfortunately I can not test them in the free version.
