Hey, I'm so new to music software that I have no info at all, and have a quick question:

Is there any software (regardless of price) that can duplicate the sounds of an orchestra, so you can synthetically produce classical music - violins, pianos, brass, etc., or add those instrumental sounds to other types?

If not, how impossible is it to create a program that could reproduce those sounds realistically?

I was using edirol orchestral which is great sounding if you want everything in one place - though if cost is not an issue, many pros are using seperate sample banks for different instruments like HALion String edition with samplers like HALion itself. Kontakt2 is a good sampler as well. The software sampler option takes more setup time but can definitely deliver pristine realistic sound.
