Hi,

I have a Korg ESX (the groovebox-stylee thing) and a laptop on which I run Cubase and Reason and VST's. However, I would like to make sure that my Cubase-sequencer masters the ESX, and up till now I can't do that. I tried everything, manuals included Very Happy

Anyone who has something similar?
Please?

Thanx in advance!

you have to go in cubase and set syncronization to midi clock out ... sent to the midi port that the esx is connected to... then plug the midi out cable into the midi in on the esx. Make sure the esx is set to slave for tempo or clock. hitting start on cubase should kick off the electribe

hello guys
this is my first post as far,to be honest have registered when seen this thread here..
Ive the same questions in mind as davo. Was really happy to expirience this sorta sync ,finally, and after reading the reply of michaelwenz.
I have therefore a question more...
I have finally my fat drum as bottom under my cubase synths and sounds but I cannot seeee any track where I could edit esx ..or is't impossible this way?
The worst is after audi mixdown,I could not hear any drum of esx ..
I hope u understand my problem.
How to doo it that you have a wav file with cubase throughout cubase? I cannot believe it has to be done throught recording it in soundforge or wavelab or sth like that.Excuse my way,I make music my whole life but am a chaot to the fullest.
Thanks in advance
