Berkleemusic.com has announced three new online courses for the Winter Semester: Remixing, Music Business Entrepreneurship, and Classic Rock Guitar.
Berkleemusic's Remixing online course takes students deep inside the world of urban and electronic music, from Dance to Hip-Hop, to explore the highly disciplined craft of this worldwide musical phenomenon. Students will learn to master not only the technical and analytical side of remixing, but also the creative side - the ability to hear a song's possibilities beyond its original arrangement and musical style. By the end of the course, students will produce professional remixes ready for manufacturing and distribution.
Berkleemusic’s Music Industry Entrepreneurship online course focuses
students business efforts and dramatically increases their chances of
success by teaching the entrepreneurial tools particular to the music
industry, including business structures, finance, marketing, management,
and leadership. The course will benefit anyone wishing to treat their
musical ventures in a professional business manner.
Classic Rock Guitar online course focuses on composition, melodic soloing,
chords, and licks in the styles of the classic rock guitar masters:
Hendrix, Clapton, Beck, Gilmour, and Page. Study methods of improvisation,
phrasing, scales, rhythms, fret board mastery, and sound conception that
are essential classic rock guitar techniques.
