Turtle Beach announces the release of the Roadie, part of its Audio Advantage Series line of USB audio adapters.
The sleek, portable interface packs an amazing array of flexible features and 5.1/ 7.1 channel home theater surround sound into a convenient package that literally fits in the palm of your hand.
With its unique, self-contained design, the Roadie provides everything you need for connecting a laptop or desktop to a variety of audio devices, making it an ideal accessory for playing PC games, watching DVD movies, using VoIP applications, or listening to or even recording your own music.
Features include analog and digital I/O, a stereo headphone output, built-in stereo mics and bundled management/editor software. Integrated digital signal processing includes 10-band EQ and ambience control for full, dynamic sound.
No external power supply is needed; the Roadie’s internal amplification guarantees the utmost in portability and provides full support for Turtle Beach’s acclaimed Ear Force surround sound headphones.

System requirements include a host computer with Pentium 800 MHz (or faster) CPU with at least 128 MB RAM and 100MB free drive space, a USB port, a CD-ROM drive, Windows 2000 (or higher) operating system, and a sufficient speaker system for playback. An optional programmable remote control is also available.
The Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Roadie is currently available for a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $79.95.
