My computer crashed and I had it fixed the guy said he cleaned the hard drive and reinstalled everything for me. All works great except when i go to music match i can't play any of the songs I get an error that reads MMJB soundcard problem.
and 2) I can't get into the MSN chat rooms. I emailed MSN but in the end they said they didn't know the problem.
Please advise, I suspect the problems are related

When the guy installed "everything" he probably meant he installed all the computer drivers and factory presets that he knew about. Other items you installed since you bought the machine, such as the chat rooms and musicmatch, probably got missed. Try reinstalling those programs again. This should solve your problem.

The issues you describe are two completely different animals. Without knowing your exact error messages, here goes:
Check in the Control Panel under HardWare to make certain that the sound card is Installed and that it has a working driver.
What does "I can't go to the MSN chatrooms." mean? Can we get some more detail? |
