in the early 1990's i was using a midi sequencing program called TEXTURES (textures ). I have many old floppies of data but can't locate this program. I really need it. i search the web very often but the right person who has a copy isn't reading this. please help if you have time. thanks so much

I do know of a program with that name from the early 90's but I'm not sure if it's the one you're looking for.
Take a look at

hi jason, unfortunately it's not. it was just a basic sequencer...and i believe it was before MIDI standard was set. I used the roland MT32 synth for the sounds. It was an early sequencing program. thanks for caring to help me locate it....

I believe the standard had to be made in order to apply the acronym M.I.D.I. to it:) http://www.midi.org/
Whats the interest in this 16 year old piece of software if I may ask? |

you know.....i got to thinking the same thing since i posted......it had to be in standard midi format......because the mt32 was one of the early M.I.D.I sound modules for roland........and that was my sound source while using this program......
but i have lost the program......
i have 4 years worth of original music and cover arrangements on the old 5 and 1/4 diskettes that were written using this old program.
