Reputable you say? But your using a hotmail account for email. When I think reputable, I think a company who has been around for some time. A company who would spend the 10 bucks for a proper domain. Not much for a reputable company to pay is it.

Hotmail accounts are excellent spam catchers. Serious artists know to go directly to our webpage to contact our company through the proper channels.

As per your FAQ:

Are there any hidden fees and/or costs to the artist?
There is a one time, non-refundable administration fee of $10.00

Now.... Exactly at what stage of the process is this paid.

Edit: Furthermore, why are you using a clix.to redirection to cloak your domain. Is it because you don't want folks doing a google on your real URL and seeing just how much spam you have posted across the web AND just how many people have caught you out with your bullshit $10 and $3 fees for reviews.

Two words: Stay Clear! It only took one email to find out what's really going down with them... free reviews?... umm not quite, they want to charge you a $10 admin fee. Exactly as I said earlier from checking them out on google. Only takes 20 or so clueless folks to send them that and they have made a hefty profit.

People don't be stupid enough to fall for their shite

Take a look for yourself... This is the email I got back, unedited.

Interesting how some people would rather hide in their basement instead of getting their music out there. If the previous poster would have read the entire site I believe his/her opinion would be different.

Imagine Records, a division of IMG, offers FREE distribution, FREE promotion and radio airplay to the artists we sign. See below for details or visit our web page:

What does Imagine Records pay for?

Imagine Records does not charge artists a production fee to be on their releases. Unlike other record labels we pay for the production, promotion and distribution of the albums not you the artist. We feel that artist's shouldn't have to pay to make their albums. We believe this is the responsibility of the record label.

How can Imagine Records offer free promotion, free distribution and radio airplay to artists?

Instead of charging you the artist hundreds of dollars to be on our compilation albums we recover our costs from the record buying public. What most artists do not understand is how the music business works. Here we have broken down the music industry in regards to record sales into four basic categories: major label releases, independent releases, independent compilation releases and Imagine Records releases. See below:

Major Label Releases - Artist(s) are signed and album(s) are recorded, distributed and promoted. The label provides the necessary funding for the recording, distribution and promotion but the artist is then required to pay back all funds over the course of a set number of years through albums sales, touring etc.

Independent Label Releases - Artist(s) are signed and album(s) are recorded, distributed and promoted. In most cases the artist provides all necessary funding for the recording, distribution and promotion.

Independent Compilation Releases - A minimum payment from the artist(s) is required - usually from $400 to $800. In most cases quality of material is not important. If you've got the production fee your material is automatically accepted. These indie comp. releases are targeted to artists who cannot afford to fund an album on their own. After enough artists have participated 500 - 1000 copies of low quality CD's are run off and each artist is sent 25 - 100 copies to promote on their own. This is where the distribution and promotion ends.

Imagine Records Releases - Artist(s) are signed and album(s) are recorded, distributed and promoted. We provide all the necessary funding for the recording, distribution and promotion.

Do artists receive royalties on Imagine Records Releases?

Imagine Records pays standard royalties on every album sold.

What about copyright?

Artist's hold all copyright to their material.

How can I be an Imagine Records artist and what is Imagine Records looking for?

Because the success of Imagine Records depends on the material we release we can not accept every artist that submits their material to us. Imagine Records is currently seeking artists with radio ready material with high commercial appeal. Artist development will be considered for some projects.

Who will listen to my music?

Every submission we receive is reviewed in full by several a&r staff so your material will be listened to.

Are there any hidden fees and/or costs to the artist?

There is a one time, non-refundable administration fee of $10.00

No.. what everyone is complaining about.. all across the web where you have spammed... is the fact you charge a fee which you call an "adminstration fee." This is a fee that everyone has to pay just to send you their music.. Absolute bullshit. As you state, you do not accept all submissions, so what is your accepetance to rejection ratio and where can we see and hear a list of your artists? The catalog on your website is still not online, where else are you promoting your artists?

The fact you list no signed artists, charge a $10 fee for everyone submitting and the obvious fact you spam message boards all over the web, to me shows your far from being professional and nothing but a complete scam.

Show us your happy and signed artists because at the moment it seems like your hiding them away, or what me and a lot of other people think, ripping 10 dollars off folks and not accepting submissions or very little. Then after a period of time you close doors with a fat wallet, no signed artists to record or promote and then you do it all over again under a different name.

Full of shit he is people, don't send him money. If you want to pay a 10 buck fee, enter local contests, let people hear and see you, and then at least it isn't a waste.

That is crap obviously it is a scam. Artist's aren't supposed to pay the record comapanies a fortune that's not how it works out unless It's a scam. I'm not saying that $10.00 is a fortune I'm saying before you know it you'll be paying them .25 cents a second on your demo's. Don't fall for this. It's obviously a scam. And you should quit posting on spam on our message boards.
