Telex Communications, Inc., already known for their portfolio of premium brands including Electro-Voice® microphones, is proud to announce that they have become the distributor of BLUE™ Microphones for Europe, Canada, South America, Africa, Middle East, and most of Asia.
The agreement gives EV rights to distribute the complete line of Blue microphones and accessories, renowned for their sonic integrity and cutting edge design. Further details of the program are under development, and will be introduced to the world at the ProLight & Sound / Musikmesse exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany, which takes place April 6-9.
According to Mathias von Heydekampf, President of the Telex Pro Audio Group: "Regarding our decision to accept the opportunity to become the global distributor of BLUE microphones, we took several factors into account. One, BLUE is unparalleled in the world of studio microphones and like our brands, they solve problems for our customers; they do not manufacture 'me-too' products. Two, we felt that there were synergies that could be developed in R&D. Three, all parties recognized that no other pro audio company has the kind of distribution that Telex Communications has, which, in turn, can carry the already successful BLUE portfolio into new areas of business."

This distribution agreement builds upon the recent introduction of the EV® BLUE line of microphones at Winter NAMM 2005. Two new microphone products, the EV® BLUE Cardinal and EV® BLUE Raven, officially mark the introduction of the EV® BLUE line to the MI, recording, broadcast, and pro audio markets.
