Hello all.

I am looking for music software.
What I need is (rather) simple:

I need it to be able to play pre-recorded loops, preferably downloadable, and be able to control the CHORD they are played in.

e.g. - I want to be able to take a standard rock loop, and tell it to play in A minor for 4 bars, then B flat for 4 bars, etc.

This way I can make a sketch of the soundtrack for my own original songs without going through all the trouble of creating my own recording studio. Just to get the 'feel' of them.

Any idea ? Anyone ?

Thanks in advance for any info,
Maor,
Israel.

If you want to use audio loops then you can do that with a program like ACID - however while this can pitch shift, it can't change a minor chord into a major chord as you require.

It sounds more like you want a program like Band In A Box - this will let you change a minor chord to major when using MIDI loops. IMHO this one is also the best for sketching out arrangements for original songs.
