i woke up this morning and decided i want to make music!
k not really but i'm sure it would seem so to those of you who are educated in this department.
okay, so i'm a singer/guitarist. i'm looking to make a few demo recordings but probably get real seriouse into it after a while... my sounds are more softer acoustic, with powerful vocal melody, but i want to get more into a jam band sort of sound. (dum and bass/ electronica/pop) and want to expand on the genres like anything from reggae to rock.
i'm assuming i need a keyboard and probably some kind of soft/hardware to create sounds??? i don't really know how that works.
and i need to know exactly what i need to make all this possible.
a mixer???
what brands are proffessional quality?
how will i know for sure my PC has all the requirements it needs to make decent recordings?
also i need some suggestions for drum software...
anything... tips, advise, suggestions... whatever
i've got alot of questions and they keep coming
you're help would be much appreciated.
thanks
and p.s. i'd like to make a not that money is not an issue! i don't want suggestions for cheap and easy. i WANT to put money in this, to ensure good quality.
thanks |
