| Newby here wants to know how similar control 8 and digi 002 are as far as running p-tools. I'm sorry, I'm all new to this, have purchased PC, p-tools, and have scowering ebay for a 002. What kind of controller do you suggest? Do I HAVE TO use digidesign or are there other brands that will work as well, i.e. tascam, roland..... One last thing if I may, how much better is the surface unit compared to the rack mount? Please don't let this thread go with 30,000 views and 2 responses, everyone's advice matters to me.
