I've got Sonar 4 xl home edition. I also have a technics KN6000.
Whenever I try to play a tutorial the MIDI output light says that there isoutput activity. but there is no sound leaving my keyboard speakers. all my cables are connected correctly and the sonar settings are all saying that the output device is Avance MPU-401. I've consulted my Technics Owners manual, but that wasn't much help as I don't really understand all the technical jargin(I'm in year 11). Can someone take me through what the problem/solution is pleeeeaaaassee? |

Anywho, Avance most likely refers to the chipname on your soundcard.
2 questions.
What is your operating system/platform?
What does "in year 11" mean? |

I'm on Windows XP.
"Year 11" is the British form of the American "9th Grade".............i think.
its the school year when you become 16 years old.... |

When you try to play the keyboard/sonar you have your Internet browser shut off, media players, instant messengers and all that rot correct?
AND sonar has profiled your sound card correctly? |
