| Is there any software that removes or seperates lyrics and music from an MP3 file so you can mix new music with different lyrics or vice versa? I'm not looking to simply mix two MP3 files, but rather take the solo lyrics (without music) from one file and put them with the solo music (without lyrics) from a different file. I do have Sony Acid 4.0....will this work or do I need something else? Thanks, any help is appreciated.... |

This question comes up a lot... and there is no perfect answer, however under certain circumstances where the vocals are perfectly centered in the stereo mix while the backing music is not, and if the stereo imaging hasn't been too greatly altered by the encoding process, then you may have some success doing it.
Here are two articles you should read:
Extracting the Lead Vocal
Eliminating the Lead Vocal
Good Luck! |
