Hi.
I have a problem converting a midi file from mp3 or wav.
I have to convert midi file for electronic piano (we call it sintezator).
But when i convert it with any kind of mp3/wav To midi converting program. The midi file sound terrible.
Maybe there is a special program or a method how to make a midi file for electronic piano. I would be grateful if you could share that kind of information with me. |

Although MP3/Wav to MIDI converter software is improving all the time, it is still near impossible to separate different sounds from a stereo mix into MIDI.
What you need is a solo instrument as your source file. This can be converted pretty successfully. However, if your original MP3/Wav is a mix of different instruments, I'm afraid the only sure way of getting the midi file that you are after is to transcribe the music by ear and program all the midi parts manually.

I had one song (wav) that I wanted to convert to MIDI so badly that I
paid for a program that was written to do it but I could never get all of
the adjustable parameters set well enought that it was worth doing. I
finally gave up on ever converting wav files to MIDI. I really knew that it
wouldn't work when I bought the program but I wanted to see how well it could do. |
